Beautiful old pub. The staff are very attentive and being careful to stick to Covid precautions. The food is a high standard. Not the usual pub fare, not exotic, just a little different and flavoursome. Nicely presented. Our well behaved dogs were made welcome which is always a plus for us. We will return if only to try the thyme baked Camembert with sourdough bread.
Lovely pub with a stunning view. Good COVID precautions in place which makes you feel safe. We came for a sunday roast and I can happily say it was the best one I've ever had! Maybe slightly more expensive than other roasts, but you get what you pay for! Lovely wine and camembert too, will definitely come more regularly.
Fantastic place. We visited for Mothers Day, and mum received a complimentary Prosecco on arrival and a bunch of daffs on leaving, a really nice touch! Food, staff, atmosphere & service were impeccable. We'll be back again.
