Very good and friendly staff food very good and an excellent service
This evening, I used this chippy, wearing a face mask, as now legally required, (as were all staff working too). Two other customers were inside, not wearing masks. I commented to one of the staff that it is now law for customers to wear masks and she said they cannot police it. I advised that a sign could be placed, requesting customers to wear them, the same staff member said there was one. (I could not see any sign, I looked before entering, also on leaving). While waiting, I remarked that the customers not wearing masks could wait outside, having placed their orders. I was ignored. I did not feel safe, despite what your website says about this aspect, with regard to COVID 19. As I was about to drive off, another customer entered, again no mask worn. The food was fine, but my appetite had been spoilt by this poor experience. Please place clearly visible, polite signs up and if necessary, request customers to wear them, no policing is necessary. Thank you.
