This place is just the best. We luckily or unluckily, whichever way you look at it, won (well, got given) a goldfish at the fair a year or so ago. We bought a fish tank and thought we were prepared for what lies ahead...... We hadn't been given all bad advice but there was some advice missing and our fish began to suffer. We have two as we got another one free when we bought our tank! In comes Maidenead Aquatics and a very knowledgeable, passionate and friendly Cat. She helped us with all of our needs to help get our tank clean and our fish healthy again. We were there for two hours solid writing down all the information she was giving us and she never once made us feel stupid, bad or that she couldn't wait to get rid of us. That is a fantastic quality in any staff member and we really appreciated all the advice and help she gave us. It a a fantastic place with a great selection of fish (We didn't buy any more!) Plenty of tanks and tank decorations and all the stuff you could possibly need to look after your fish. Be prepared if you get given or win a goldfish at the fair. To give them the best life you need to spend a lot of money and have enough time on your hands to care for them properly! Very highly recommended!
