Due to lockdown it was take away only and I only intended having a coffee but the cakes were irresistible. I had a massive piece of chocolate brownie and my friend had a large slice of victoria sponge. We were both impressed. I assume it was the owner who served us and she was very friendly and helpful. Although I don't live in Howden I would love to go back once the pandemic is over and sit in the café.
