If I could give a zero I would. The VLB loan process has become extremely horrible. There is no communication and I have waited a week for an update or some type of communication after I reach out and nothing is said. Then I wait two weeks after reaching out and still no communication back. This has turned into place that doesn’t care about there veterans. SMH Please Do better!

Slow. We started 30Jun and closed 30Sep. Too much time wasted between delivering documentation and getting the next update. They need more information on website about flag lots needing \all weather\ driveway prior to being cleared to close..A description of what satisfies their all weather requirement would be helpful. You must load ALL documents in the portal yourself. DO NOT assume they will load it because they got it in email. Bottom line, get them the docs ASAP and set your closing date at 3 months to be safe.

Bought land 20 years ago smooth process. The people did everything. Very professional and polite. Decided to buy more recently and they acted like I was putting them out. DID NOT WANT TO TALK TO ME. RUDE!! Would not answer any questions. Told me I need to research it on my own. My opinion, they are getting payed off by people to give them the best deals when they come up. Needs to be investigated....

What on Earth has happened to the Texas VLB? I got a land loan here about 8 years ago and it went smooth. Paid it off several years ago. This year I'm attempting to get a home improvement loan, and it is night and day difference. Terrible communication on their part. The loan processor has literally gone radio silent on me. What was a good operation has turned into a shameful one.

Loan application made in June to day 24th of August they say they need until the end of September to close this loan. Excellent credit money in bank and job security and it takes 12 weeks to close alone. This is how they treat a veteran.
