5 stars for our amazing waiter, John. Couldn't have had a better guy! The place was packed and if not for \most\ wearing masks one wouldn't even know covid was a thing. We have eaten out on occasion and every place but here has every other table being seated (utilizing the social distance ule\). Is this just a Michigan rule? This restaurant did have some barriers up making each booth a bit higher to stop the germs?! We did see 3 people in the back cooking -2 without masks and one hanging below pertinent face holes needing to be covered! Slightly disturbing knowing they are preparing our food. We did attempt to get pictures and will post. A few customers were \testing\ boundaries not wearing masks even tho there was a sign on door stating it was a must. The business didn't seem to enforce the ule\. As for the food, it did come out in a timely fashion and was delicious. Again the place was packed but our waiter was extremely attentive to our party of 3.

Two 8oz steak plates, food overall was good the wait was at least 30mins and they put the wrong steaks on the wrong plates. Out of brownies, please ask if sitting was okay, we actually wanted to be closer to the televisions The floor had trash ( straw wrappers and mask) One if the waitresses slipped on a spat of ketchup. She didn't clean it nor put up a wet floor sign and it was right by our table.
Not the normal experience today... food was good but the service itself lacked the normal. Not sure we'll be back to this location... which I hate to say because normally everything is spot on.. don't make your customers wait so long for 1) service/ greeted at your table 2) drinks to be delivered to the table 3) since this pandemic you should ask if salt and pepper are preferred. If it had been busy when we came in I would have expected delays, but it wasn't.
Great food and fantastic service! Love this place. Highly recommend the Cheese fries as an appetizer. And the Bacon Burger.
I personally do not love their food, but every single member of my family just LOVES it. Texas must be good if I am never mad when someone suggest going here to eat. Their rolls are perfectly amazing when they are cooked right and the butter is made by the right person. Rolls are the reason to go there and if you are not satisfied with how they are cooked, then just ask for new ones!! Steak is good, but I always get it without seasoning. If you have never been to Texas - what are you waiting for? Seriously? Call ahead, and eat there tonight.
