I have known Philippa for several years and during that time I have bought numerous pieces of jewellery from ‘TaylorBlack’ for my wife and family. Philippa provides excellent service with exquisite skill. The results have always been fantastic. Most recently, I asked Philippa to make a bespoke Tanzanite pendant in white gold. I sent a few thoughts to Philippa and within a few days Philippa sent a concept mark-up which perfectly hit the mark for what l was looking for, flawlessly demonstrating her creativity and client focus. Philippa sourced the tanzanite and produced the piece well within the timeframes. Shipping was safe and secure (no need to be local, in fact I once asked Philippa to ship to NYC). The piece is well crafted, and my wife loves it and is uniquely hers! It is always good to support an independent jeweller and when they are as greatly skilled and knowledgeable as Philippa is, the experience undeniably feels more personal and memorable. I definitely recommend Philippa from ‘TaylorBlack’ if you are looking for a unique well-crafted piece of jewellery. Jono

Lovely shop and highly recommended. I had some precious stones which I wanted to have set in earrings and a ring. Philippa discussed and showed possible options and what she thought would work best. The end result was some lovely creative contemporary jewellery at a very reasonable price which has since been admired and commented on by many.
