The food was decent, it lack the Cajun flavor which was why I decided to try out this restaurant. The Gumbo was not authentic. Overall it was decent but probably won't try again.

My brother and I came to Lawrence for the day and stopped here for a quick bite and wanted some flavor close to our home. The bread had the perfect crunch and the catfish batter was spot on. I didn't realize that you are not allowed to eat on the patio and one of the staff members came out and politely alerted us. ***Head's up if you're not from the area, this is a take-out only place for now, but I will say, we look forward to coming back whenever we are back in town.***
After stumbling onto this restaurant, my wife and I bopped in for a bite. Their menu was expansive enough to offer any Cajun we could think of. The flavor profile was unforgettably good. Would recommend to anyone.

Creole Gumbo was a nice surprise. Hushpuppies were the best! Loved the pumpkin cake, too. Small eatery big on everything service!!!
