Closed to visitors in light of the COVID-19 situation, though, a very well maintained and busy lifeboat station. Aesthetically pleasing design to launch at low tide, with a long steep ramp. Operationally active and includes a donation box outside for those who wish to support the RNLI and saving lives at sea. Beautiful landscapes nearby and well worth wandering by on a sunny day.

Such a fascinating place and at certain times of the year you can go on a boat ride (calmer days obvious). RNLI have done a great job of education in here, with films to watch and lots of information posters. It is a working Lifeboat station, so don't expect an access all areas tour, but the Haydn Miller is very impressive.
Friendly people, clean and tidy. The boat is amazing.. Worth a visit
a lovely station to visit with many interesting points to see and a nice shop staffed by knowledgeable people, do drop in and say hello and leave a little donation if you will thanks....
A great example of a modern lifeboat station!
