This is how my daughter found sobriety. She was surrounded by amazing people that love her in this program. She joined IOP at 21 and was able to gather tools to help her, not only to stop drinking but for life. She now has a team of peers and staff that love her and will help her when things are hard. Her counselor was upbeat, caring and called us every week to give an update on how she is doing. There is also a parent peer support group which was a lifeline for me as a parent. Enthusiastic sobriety does not only help kids get sober, it provides a community and a place that is theirs to have fun and create meaningful experiences. I was skeptical at first but I would hands down recommend Pathway to others who are helping their kids and in my case my young adult get sober.

While I can agree some people stay chemically sober in this program, there are lingering impacts that can last a lifetime and damage so many experiences and relationships. I personally am a decade removed and still struggle with self-trust and a dependency on others to tell me I’m ok. I did not become fully free until I left this program and others like it and truly got to work on me- my relationship with myself, my acceptance of myself, and my trust and confidence in myself. Also, I notice a lot of current, past, or since transferred staff members leaving reviews, which seems like a conflict of interest. Someone who left a 5 star review on here once said to me “well even if it is a cult, aren’t you happy?” Yes. Yes I was. But so were the people following Charles Manson and David Koresh. Everyone wants to feel loved and apart of- but they shouldn’t have to sacrifice needless personal relationships, life goals, and financial success to find that.

The Pathway Program is wonderful for teenagers and young adults struggling with alcohol and drug addiction! I was in the program when I was 15 in 2017. I joined and completed treatment there and it completely changed me! I was able to make good friends and become a better person myself. I also became capable of holding a job for a long period of time, owning a car, graduating high school a year early, having an amazing relationship with my parents, etc. It really is unlike any other treatmemt facility and I would really recommend giving this place a shot! :)

I came to the Pathway Program when I was 14 and struggling with addiction and had no way to cope with life's problems. I came here and didn't know what to expect but upon arriving, it was so much more than I expected. I saw that people were genuinely happy and I wanted that. I went through the intensive outpatient program and grew a tremendous amount. Getting sober here taught me how to deal with life's problems in a healthy manner, graduate high school at 16 and start college at 16. Today, I am approaching 4 years sober and work in an environment helping kids get sober like I did and none of this would have been possible without the help of this program and the amazing counselors.
