Very organized move in. Room lay outs are nothing like on the website.

I have been living in Palo Verde East for about a semester and a half now. Here is everything i’ve dealt with: day one: broken lights, outlet next to sink completely exposed, three outlets do not work, the closet light sparks, my bed literally broke, holes in the walls and ceiling everything else: roaches constantly, mildew and mold in the bathroom because the shower floods the bathroom every time it’s used, toilet takes 2-3 flushes to actually work, didn’t have hot water the entirety of the first semester, flying ants, holes in pipes, broken window shade, the elevators have broken so many times I lost count, they have blatantly ignored any concerns revolving myself or others in the building, and my dorm hasn’t gotten above 55 degrees since i moved in. Live here at your own risk.

Palo verde east is an okay dorm. The CD is very nice and helpful. The staff is overall very supportive and encouraging especially the CAs. Palo verde east is a chill, nice vibe dormitory. Almost everyone knows everyone which is nice. The CAs also hold a lot of events so that everyone can feel at home and comfortable. Things such as studying and coffee and such. However, since this dormitory is pretty outdated there is constantly something wrong with it. The elevators are not to be trusted. I’ve worked at this establishment and when I tell you they are messed up. I mean it. No matter how many times maintenance comes and “fixes” them people still get trapped in them. Also they make very scary noises especially the left one. All the rooms are different sizes. The ones at the ends of the halls are the biggest where the ones squished in between are the smallest. My suite mates room is two times the size as mine. The kitchen fire alarms are extremely sensitive. Most of the lounge areas have a kitchen except for one. Most of the kitchens have outdated appliances. Also they have either a pool or ping pong table to which most of the supplies are broken. All have a tv and couches. Palo verde east does have a math tutoring center, ups store and Starbucks down stairs. Which is a plus but if you are looking for nicer rooms with more to do then I suggest manzanita. Manzy has its own issues of course but it’s nicer and it has its own dining hall that most people consider better than all others.

Not the cleanest place, and the showers are borken. I used to live here almost 20 years ago..The place is now overttaken by bed bugs, mosqitoes, and the occasional snake. sometimes, i hear crickets and I think \wow what a beautiful night\ but they are actually chirping under my desk. disgusting. i had to spray oxy clean around the whole room and my rooomate went to hospital because of it. fortunately he did not make it. i am now being tried in the 8th court of appelas, but alas! i will make it through.

A great starter dorms for freshmen students starting at ASU especially if you're involved with the marching band or any other Athletic program. Also that believe this is a main facility for getting your mail.

Old, dated and run down. You're charging over 6000 per room so surely ASU have the funds to update and do renovations. Start with the ventilation and air conditioning system. My child has been constantly sick since moving in there. I'm on my way now to take my child again to the doctor because of this dorm. You already nickel and dime the students to no avail so do better ASU!!!!
