This is a really good indian buffet. The dessert selection is unlike anything I've seen before. Definitely worth the price tag. If you come to Tempe, you should definitely give a chance to Chutneys.

The buffet was almost always half empty, but at least the quality of food is decent. Also, please don't put orange slices in the water.
The food is really good here. The chicken tikka masala has a nice heat to it if you ask for it. But I simply don't understand what the issue is with restaurants in Tempe. I understand that being near a university affects offerings, but you would think that broke college students would drive the prices down. Instead, what we get is expensive food in small portions of varying quality. Ordering from Grubhub, what you see in my photo cost 25 delivered. Why are the portions so small? Chicken tikka masala doesn't cost much to make, and rice especially costs next to nothing. The rice portion size I received was tiny. I don't expect two meals for the price of one, especially when it's delivered but I expect not to feel hungry after eating. I'd definitely go to their buffet, which I heard is great, if we weren't in a pandemic. Tempe restaurants, please, we want to support you but you have to offer more value.
Ordered and waited for 50 minutes- they only answered they will check on my order for the entire 35 minutes I waited inside! When I said I’d like them to cancel - no response. They were very busy letting people who wanted to dine in - I understand them being busy but clearly they prioritized in door dining to to-go.
We have tried a lot of different indian cuisine in Chandler area and this place was the best. Food taste great, owner/manager was welcoming and great at telling folks the rules for COVID, employees where nice, service was no stop and no waiting. Atmosphere was clean and relaxing. An absolute must try.
