I went in on Thursday to take my road test. I went through the line and my name was called. I was told in very basic terms by the instructor to drive around to the other side of the building. I drove around and parked where I thought she instructed. She told me (again in vague terms) to drive around again to the other side which I did. She came out to the vehicle and informed me I had failed! I didn’t even know the test had started. She claimed there was nothing she could do. She had a nasty demeanor and attitude on top of it all. I went in and immediately asked for a manager. We had to wait 10 minutes before she came out. I explained that we were treated unfairly and that I never got a chance to take my test. She quickly dismissed my concern also stating nothing she could do. I asked for a number of someone to call to escalate further. As soon as she went to get me a number, 2 others in the lobby said she had done the same to them. I disgustedly took the number the manager provided and left. When I got to the car and called the number she gave me it turned it to be the main MVD phone number. This is ridiculous and I’m fed up

A for outstanding human staff excellence! Try *new* online site or calling first. Do not visit in person unless required due to covid. Not a fan of the various \3rd party\ authorized middlemen grifters.
I went during rush hour, which is about 4 PM Monday, and it only took me about 25 minutes to get through. I was going to register my out-of-state vehicle, and get Arizona plates. You just need your insurance, copy of your deed, & drivers license. Pretty simple process! Staff was seriously very cool!
Be careful if you have any minor infraction and you're out of state and you don't know that you're supposed to also clear it up with the states DMV. It don't suspend your license for 2 years. So if you drive through the state regardless of valid driver's license in another state they can still arrest you because they run their own DMV system. So I have a valid driver's license out of one state but apparently in Arizona it's been suspended for two years for failure to show insurance at the time when I got pulled over for a missing light on my license plate. This place is DS Arizona sucks
