Click and collect procedure made easy social distancing in place great staff

I opted for the click and collect by car thinking this would be a quicker and safer option for a collection. NOT THE CASE! I arrived at the click and collect bay yesterday evening, followed the instructions from the email, entered the car details etc and was advised I was 3rd in the queue....fine. When it came to being 1st in the queue, I also recieved a text message telling me that my package had been located so to pop my boot and wait. I waited....for 30 minutes and still nobody came. Eventually I got out and then had to queue to get into the store, where when I finally did get in, was directed to the customer service desk, I I formed the lady there about what had happened and she took my information again and said she would phone the warehouse. After the phone call she picked up my product from behind the desk and gave it to me. No apology or acknowledgement, which in customer service I think is the very least she could have done!! I don't mind the wait so much, but I think if a system that the store has put in place hasn't worked for whatever reason, and I get that things get missed, but to then make the customer feel like an inconvenience is uncalled for.

Good service here. I like the idea of notifying the store of your arrival however there were no clear instructions on where to wait for the items to be collected on foot hopefully they will improve on this. I had to wait till someone came through the exit door. Overall good service.

Lots of great products at good prices. Staff very unhelpful and all seemed too busy just wandering around and saying they were with someone. Went elsewhere and purchased what I wanted.

I find this store rather expensive, slightly impersonal and the credit option is an absolute rip off, do not fall for it! If you can't afford the thing outright, get a credit card. You can find everything in this store much cheaper online, the only advantage is it's pretty much the only physical store in the Uk for computing therefore they have the monopoly on that market. When you want to see, touch and experience the tech before you buy then you really have no other choice.
