5 hours waiting just to return to Bușteni. Waste of money and time. The view is great if you get there in time, though

If you want to spend 5 hours waiting in a queue to get on the mountain, I'd suggest walking, it would be faster. Afterwards you have another 5 hours to wait in queue to get down from the mountain. All for the amazing price of 40 lei per person, 5% lower price for students/children, that means 2 lei less. Extremly big waste of money, energy, time. Don't be around in august, it's really not worth it.
On the Bucegi Plateau has thousands and thousands of beautiful flowers of the Gentiana Bulgarica species.
After climbing all the way up by foot from busteni, all we wanted was some hot coco. They had it, with cream. A little whiskey in it and we were on the top of the world. Also the cable car had almost no que (at 14:45).
Waiting time is very long. Up to 6 hours

Disgusting. Really long queue and around 2-3 hours wait time. Avoid it.
