hi hi

Amazing place to stay for a week! You have got great views of the estuary, which is only a five minute walk away. A 10 minute walk to the town centre and a beautiful location. The owners are lovely people and very welcoming. We stayed here for a week and enjoyed it thoroughly. Great countryside and very quiet. Love it!

Wonderful campsite just 1 mile from the lovely town of Shaldon. Well priced with good size pitches and nice views. It's a working farm and there are animals to which are cute and friendly. Anne the owner is very helpful. There is a communal fridge and freezer, washing up area, drainage points, and two sets of toilets. Toilets are as to be expected on a campsite. Showers are free and warm. Good views from the site of the estuary. A short walk takes you to Shaldon and a bit further to Teignmouth which has all amenities and a large supermarket (Morrisons). There is a small boat from Shaldon to Teignmouth which takes out a chunk of the walk and is around 1.50 per adult and 50p a child, each way.

Just returned from a 3 night stay at The Old Piggery on Longmeadow Farm. This is fabulous accommodation: spotlessly clean; extremely well equipped; and aesthetically pleasing. Shaldon is a lovely area and the village centre within walking distance. Taxi's to Teignmouth and the local ferry were very cheap too. The Old Piggery has a double bedroom and also a double bed settee which was great for my 17 year old daughter. There was a fridge with a freezer compartment, a washing machine, microwave and gas oven and hob. Complimentary eggs, milk, tea, instant and cafetere coffee were waiting for us on arrival as well as many other thoughtful touches. There were a couple of washing tabs, washing up liquid, dishcloths, shower gels, handwash, salt, pepper, vinegar etc. Cannot fault this place and would recommend this accommodation for couples, young families of up to four, or three adults. I'd like to return here in the near future.

If it's a quiet place to camp, within walking distance of the town centre. This is your place. Clean and tidy toilet, shower block. Friendly patrons too.
