A relaxing and pretty place with a car park really close to the action. There are plenty of restaurants and cafes to visit with plenty more views up and down the coast from Teignmouth. A nice place to visit but can get a little busy at peak times.

River beach is a strip of Sandy Beach stretching from the mouth of the teign to the fish dock lots of boats moored and houses border the Beach but still some room if you want to sit and let the kids play with the sand. More sheltered than the main Beach and often less windy. The Shaldon ferry runs from this beach. The Beach has access to pubs and restaurants particularly the Ship Inn ( well worth a visit). Running behind the Beach is the arts area. Lots of individual and quirky shops all very interesting and well worth exploring an antidote to the standard anodyne shopping offering of most towns
Great beach, clean tidy and lifeguards on patrol, plenty of parking Card and coin and mobile app so easy to pay. Would recommend this beach
A great spot to while away a few hours. A nice sheltered beach for when there is an onshore breeze.
Lovely quiet place to sit and enjoy the view. Amazing sunsets
