Rahpooyan Danesh koolak Foodstuff Specialty Laboratory has been established in 2017 with the investment of 1,000,000 $ from Tolikoolak. The major scope of this laboratory is Edible oils and fats, Dairy products, Honey, Chocolates, Water, Meals, and Livestock Feeds. This laboratory includes three departments of Physicochemical, Instrumentation and Microbiological sections. The physicochemical section is equipped with state-of-the-art instruments including Titrator, Karl Fischer titrator, Microwave digestion system, NDA protein determination device, Cryoscope, Viscometer, Rancimat, Oxitest, Spectrophotometer (in two advanced types), Fiber determination device, complete BOD and COD assay equipments, Refractometer, Lovibond Tintometer, Automatic soxhlet, Gerber centrifuge, Ultrasonic apparatus and ATR-FTIR spectrometer. The instrumentation section possesses HPLC and IC equipped with UV, FLD, RID and Conductivity detectors; Three GCs equipped with various detectors such as FID, NPD, ECD and MS and different types of injectors like Split/Splitless, Cool on column and Head Space; Flame/Hydride/Furnace Atomic Absorption spectrophotometry and Microwave digestion. The microbiological department has been established by Allocating seven completely separate sections with the perfect Epoxy coating, Hygienic air-conditioner equipped with HEPA filter and RCI system, and also observing almost all related requirements to Clean Room and Pharmaceutical Laboratories. With the enjoyment of the experienced personnel and operating the ISO 17025 Standard requirements, this laboratory has been succeeded to establish common and specialty foodstuff analysis with the focus on specific tests of oils and fats. Holding general and specialty training courses and implementation research projects are other goals of this complex.
