The Iran Refractory Society, IRS, is the representative organization of the Iran refractory industry, located in Tehran. It was founded in 2008 and offers an Iranian platform on which its members can exchange views and experiences of common interest. IRS has no commercial aim. In the scope of Iran legislation and standardization, our mission is to promote the interests of Iranian Refractory Producers. The activities of the society are aimed at achieving these purposes through working with the Iranian institutions (such as ministry of industry, mine and trade of Iran, Iranian mines and mining industries development and renovation organization, Iran mine house and Iranian national standardization organization) and a wide range of Benefit industries such as Steel-making industry, Cement industry, Mining industry, Glass and Ceramic industry, etc.
