The service was poor. The waiter was rude. We ordered a cream tea, the tea came 10 mins before the scones. We asked for a fresh pot when our scones eventually arrived this was met with incredulity by the waiter who huffed and puffed and commented in a rude way to our request. He then brought the cream and scones but only one plate, we had ordered for 2 and tutted and made loud comments about our request to embarrass us. He then shouted from one end of the room, will you be wanting hot milk then with your tea. The whole experience was humiliating and embarrassing. The man should be sacked.

lovely, calm setting.. relaxed atmosphere. Lovely tea, cakes and Tea Bread. Friendly staff. Will definitely return very soon.
One of those unique places you find once in a while. An extra special tea and scrumpuous cake experience. Excellent service and well worth the visit.

Lovely cosy tearoom, cakes and scones made on site, China cups and teapots. Cream tea seemed expensive at over 7 each and sandwiches were sold separately.
