The pasties are very good as always, but the beef and chicken burgers are absolutely incredible. Easily the equal of or better than more expensive high-end burger joints. The buttermilk burger chicken I had recently was not only the nicest burger I've ever had, but probably the nicest chicken, too. Great service and an excellent modern website. One of the few places in Tavi to offer online ordering, payment and delivery. A fantastic addition to the fairly limited options we have for food delivery here.

Superb service through COVID-19 with delivery. Thank you! Good local cafe. The pasties IMHO are the best in Tavistock. The hand made take away sandwiches are excellent. The sit down and eat food is good. Superb rocky road and millionaires shortbread.
Lovely place. Helpful staff. We have visited before and will return. I have to be Gluten Free and Dairy Free because of allergies. Sadly still no GF pasties which I have found in other places. GF wraps now available, which were beautiful, but that was all I could have. Frustratingly a whole section of the menu, as in too many places, was devoted to 'vegan'. This is a lifestyle choice, not an absolute requirement for health like DF and GF in my case. I puzzle over why there isn't more effort made for real health/allergy issues and yet a fanciful lifestyle choice is heavily catered for. Dairy-free is so poorly understood. Its NOT vegetarian. I CAN eat eggs (eggs are NOT dairy!) And I eat MEAT and FISH. What I can't eat are milk or any milk products or gluten foods (wheat, oats, rye, barley).
This is outrageous. I prdered a chciken panini and it came with two pieces of bread which were not grilled, a bit of cheese on one slice and big cubes of chicken. With that price I could have definitely got a better panini elsewhere or even more than one!!
Very busy place on times. Large seating area at front of shop and more seating inside. There is table service with a smile. Really quick service and helpful staff. Tasty food. Lots of choice. Very nice place. Take away menu available. Huge range of pasties to choose from. Toilets are at rear of property.
