Excellent food! However, if you are looking for a place where management follows social distancing and COVID safety measures, this is NOT the place. I was shocked how close together the restaurant was seating guests. All staff wore masks, but my goodness all tables were full and definitely not 6 feet apart.

Great food and drinks! We came with a group of 8 and they were able to accommodate us very well. We all started with cocktails and then got some wine with our pasta dishes. I had the Tagliatelle Alla Bolognese and it was amazing! It was a perfect sized portion. Good thing, because I would have finished it all no matter how big - that's how good it was! Our server asked if we were celebrating anything and we were celebrating our friends getting engaged, so they were nice enough to bring us out some complimentary desserts. We had a brownie with vanilla ice cream and we also ordered the tiramisu. Both were very good!
We had a large group which is always tough for a server. We ordered a wide selection of appetizers and tried several of main courses. No one had a complaint from the service, drinks to desserts. I would go with the lasagna or the bolognese pasta as I consider myself a purest maybe just simple.
I love this place. Great atmosphere, friendly staff, good food and drinks. Order their risotto! It’s the best I’ve ever had!
A friend and I were walking through Legacy West and stumbled across Taverna. I am so happy we did. It was a wonderful experience from top to bottom. You could see the owners and staff took time to get even the smallest details perfect. The food was amazing, the presentation was perfect, and the vibe was one whereas you definitely want to go back. I would definitely give Taverna 5 stars!
