We had a pleasant day on the railway starting from here and traveling to and from Minehead. The staff in the shops and in the train were incredibly pleasant and helpful. Costs were reasonable compared to other local attractions. Although I'm not a railway enthusiast the model shops and the info provided by the staff along the journey was incredibly interesting and added to the experience.

Lovely setting and trip. Murder mystery was funny, interactive and challenging. Fish and chip supper pleasant and served at the start of the trip. Journey through lovely scenery, views of the sea before arriving at Minehead. Unfortunately it was a bit of a ghost town, even in peak holiday season and with nice weather, but there was time for a seafront stroll and a look at the pictorial history they have displayed there. Very good value for money and a lively crowd. Excellent!

Magical railway station start of the West Somerset Railway. My favourite heritage line. Highly recommended.

Lovely little train station and the train journey across Summerset was beautiful. The train was quite slow, but that makes it relaxing. Price was reasonable and the carriages were clean. Overall a very pleasant trip!

Nice station at one end of the West Somerset Railway. Only 22 return (currently) between there and Minehead. Small museum on the station, with a visit if you like old trains. Micro brewery nearby where you can try as well as buy their ales.
