My girls used to ride here and two years later (we now live in Cambridge) we still remember how good this Riding school is, which I think speaks for itself. Vicky is so good with the children and makes the lessons fun. I highly recommend Flying start.

Fantastic all round, horses are well looked after. Staff are friendly and helpful and very informative. It's a great place to learn to ride.

I have been riding here at flying start since I was five (8 years) and helping since I was eight (5 years) . The ponies are well trained and a joy to ride. Since Vicky Wyatt took over about 5 years ago the place grew so much not only in numbers but in spirt too. I believe that the amount of customers has tripled since she took it over. All helpers that go at encouraged to do the helpers course before they start tacking up and leading to ensure that the children riding and horses are comfortable and safe. Vicky and all of her teaching staff are able to cater for children of all levels and so are the ponies and horses. Vicky really helps children to grow with her positive attitude and constructive criticism. Flying start also offers extremely successful birthday party's and pony days for the the younger children and the flying start show for the older more experienced children.

I feel the lack of continuity in instructors delivering the lessons had a negative effect on children's confidence and ability to develop. Whenever I requested information or tried to make contact often contact was ignored or met with huge delays. On one occasion a leader felt it appropriate to yank an elderly pony and then and hit the pony in the face which we were utterly disgraced at. I hoped as promised my child's dedication and commitment would be celebrated with achievement awards but unfortunately this never materialised.
