I have never been so in awe of a restaurant in my life; it is so pretty I almost cried. Everything about it was perfect, the aesthetic, the service, COVID safety measures, and the food. We ordered so much food, maybe too much for a party of two, but we weren't kept waiting and everything came one after the other. Whatever we ordered was perfect, and we ate every last bit, even contemplated dessert, but alas our bellies are not that big. We were served by a lovely man, who we sadly don't know the name of, and he genuinely seemed to care about us having a good time, and seemed to really enjoy it there himself. We couldn't recommend this place enough, and hope to have the same experience next time.

Our first visit last night and I was not disappointed!! Temperature screening upon entry, friendly knowledgeable staff. Stunning decor and the food...... Amazing!! We ordered 11 dishes so we could try as much as possible and man was it worth it!! Covid friendly so we felt safe. Cannot wait to go back! Well done guys.

Tattu is without question one of our favourite restaurants in Leeds. I have been incredibly impressed with their commitment to creating a covid secure environment without comprising on their standards. Service & food remain amazing! The short rib & shumai are a must!! Thank you so much for the early birthday treat. Best wishes to staff for the next few weeks. We look forward to seeing you soon.

After going to Tattu I received an email asking for feedback wouldn’t be writing this if I hadn’t got a dismissive email from who I’ll assume is management but I will not name. The response read like I should have known better and completely dismissed all comments on the food which was sub par at best. It also said I should have spoken up more and basically placed the blame on us. A restaurant supposedly this renowned should have this locked down especially with a considerably smaller menu. This was my feedback: The staff were great we spoke to a few. Very accommodating well presented and polite especially our main waiter and I wish I had got his name he was Italian I believe older compared to most the other staff. He clued us up on our drinks, gave great recommendations and didn’t question when we had to send something back for being dry. The short ribs were very dry on the inside with a burnt flavour on the outside and the Singapore Vermicelli noodles with Chicken we had to send back as it was too dry and looked visibly dry when it came to the table. The description on one of the drinks I think it was something along the lines of a Negroni was misleading as we had assumed it was just a name of the drink not that it would taste like a ferment or bitters. I do think a drink that strong should say bitter or something because it was horrible. It also got really cold in the restaurant towards the end I understand from being in the hospitality industry that air con can be a tactic to move people along when people have over stayed their welcome but it was only 10:30. As for the atmosphere we couldn’t tell as we were in the corner by toilets.

We went to Tattu for a special occasion, it is quite expensive but it is a lovely restaurant. The decor is very pretty. The service was good, quick to take drinks and food orders. Some of the food is absolutely delicious like the duck pancakes and cooked perfectly. I would say the large plate foods are the best. Some of the dim sum plates are good but only average. Food is well presented and it comes to the table quite quickly. The wine is a little overpriced.
