Nice place with nice food. The food was great, especially the butternut squash soup. We were even offered more bread (which is rare but appreciated). Portuguese octopus was delicious; mac & cheese with crab was good. Service was a little slow, as it took a while to get the check while being outside in the cold. Solid place for a nice dinner.

Came here on a friend's recommendation that has visited this place a couple of times before. Wait was a little long, staff was friendly. Started with the calamari that was perfectly cooked and very tasty. Entree was the beef short rib that was fall apart and just perfect. Overall the meal was great and will definitely be back when in the area!

Not good at all. The chowder was really good great flavor. But down hill from there. Burger no flavor what so ever and all burnt. Fries sucked kids left them there. Mac and cheese horrible. No flavor on anything really disappointed.

I was craving for a hamburger on Labor Day Monday because I could smell all my neighbors grilling and I don’t have a grill. So I ordered a takeout cheeseburger and french fries from tarry Tavern. I thought it was rather pricey but it was really wonderful and delicious. The burger was huge -10 ounces- And cooked perfectly medium rare as I requested. I asked for a well done fries and they were well done. It was enough for two meals for me. I really enjoyed it and I would definitely buy it again but not for a while because it was quite expensive.

Food here is not only about taste but also texture. The pairing of flavors with texture makes meals here an joyable event. They also have a nice little area to sit outside and enjoy a summer evening with a glass of wine or cool drink. Staff is very friendly and host amazing events for companies.
