Great food and service. Superb fresh oysters, delicious duck breast and one of the nicest desserts we've had for a long time, salted caramel and chocolate tart with whiskey mousse. If you are travelling on the A49 and want a great meal at reasonable prices call in, you won't be disappointed. 4 stars is very good in my recommendation as I only post 5 for the really exceptional.

We decided to dine here for the first time as have heard great reviews! However the Manager seemed very grumpy on the phone and on arrival, he wasn't very welcoming! Food very over priced for what it is! We had the most amazing helpful waitress though! Super polite and friendly, went out of her way to make the evening enjoyable!
Fantastic food, great service. Ideal for anything from a Sunday lunch to a fancy meal out. Great wine selection too. Love the fact that the kitchen is open and you can see whats going on while they are cooking. Dickie and the team are great, our new \date night\ retreat!
I had the steak and ale pie, which was very nice. Tasted fresh. The vegetables were cooked perfectly. The gravy was slightly on the too rich side for my preference but did not ruin the meal. Service was good. Prices reasonable. Areas and facilities were very clean. Lots of parking. Dog friendly.
Great service as always. Staff friendly and always take time to chat even when they are rushed off their feet. Food lovely. Outdoor cabins look amazing, will try and reserve one next time.
