Amazing ambiance by the dock, delicious food, great live music. Came all the way from Orlando for this and it didn't disappoint.

Had a fabulous lunch! Waited less than 5 minutes for an outside table!! The staff was courteous and Jason was wonderful. The table were spread apart and all the staff wore masks. I felt very safe. The Trout and Hemingway Chicken were delicious! Jason inquired about a birthday as I had a gift and brought a birthday dessert with a candle! My friend felt special and the dessert was delicious too! Thank you for a wonderful afternoon!
It was amazing! The tacos were the absolute bomb! Service was on point. Food came out in a timely manner hot and ready to eat. Our server was amazing refilled without asking if we needed a refill which for me is a huge plus! Follows covid guidelines to the letter. The nachos my daughter had were incredibly huge and very delicious. The shrimp Alfredo was absolutely amazing and the burger that my son had was cooked to perfection! Here on vacation for spring break and definitely will make it a stopping point for when I return again! The only drawback is I wish I had pictures to show you how amazing the food was plated but everybody was ready to dig in when it arrived!

Been coming to Tarpon Turtle for years and ever since its been under newer management, the experience has been the BEST YET! The whole time we were eating we kept saying how awesome the food was (Fish and Chips)... Our waitress, Tara, was AMAZING! I go out to eat a lot and this experience was by far the best! Can't wait to go back again soon!
Wonderful experience! Whenever we come to Tampa we enjoy coming here. We love the outdoor Ambiance, good food and good service. We have just started eating outdoors again since Covid hit. Tables were far enough apart and it was kept very clean. We had a wonderful server named Jenna who is also an outdoor bartender. She was very helpful answering questions about different menu items. The food is well worth the price. The only negative part was that there was a 45 minute wait for seating outdoors. The kitchen staff was getting behind so hostesses were not seating people. Therefore, there were a lot of empty tables outside. I thought it would’ve been nice to at least see people get drink orders and maybe some complementary rolls while people were waiting at their table instead of having all those empty tables. We lucked out because there was a table at the outside bar and could be seated right away.
Beautiful view of Lake Tarpon. Friendly staff and fun atmosphere. Fresh, hot,delicious food and tasty drinks. Great music playing in the background. Try there bowls and boneless wings. Pull your boat right up to there docks.
With 2 other people, wanted to be outdoors but accepted indoor seating. After 25 minutes of no service whatsoever I saw a table outside & staff allowed us to move to it. Then still exceptionally slow service. Finally got my order, grilled trout which came dried out, probably frozen 1st, definitely not worth the price. The seating outside away from the music was very pleasant. The wait staff were nice, just not available.
