Am I glad no one else was open. My wife and I stopped in here for breakfast and were so pleasantly surprised. The food was good. The service was even better. between. The prices were very affordable and the restaurant was very clean. I told my wife even though we live in San Antonio we'll probably have to drive down here for breakfast again sometime.

I went there after dark on Election Night in 2020. There was no crowd and the food was good. It was average for Tex Mex in Texas, but for the Texas Coast, it is pretty good. I guess I should have gone to a seafood restaurant if I wanted above average food. If you are in the area and in the need for Mexican, choose this place.
Authentic Mexican food, great atmosphere excellent prices. You never leave hungry or thirsty!
The food and prices make up for an unprofessional attitude. Had 2 Midas mexicanna server dropped off the food, check and never came back for the 2 bite check back. If the food wasn't good I would not go back.
Picture shows steak ranchero....it's not evem close to what this plate should be. Has enchilada sauce on it. I guess mexican recipes are not one of the cooks specialty. This place is more of a Tex-Mex restaurant.
