Ordered online. But the food was ready 25 min later than it says it would be. Also I ordered 2 quesadillas while got 2 tacos. I discovered after I arrived home. The food is very delicious tho.

My friend and I tried to patronize taqueria last night. They refused us service because of my service animal in public in front of all their patrons. They are uneducated on the laws of service animals. They judged my dog stating “oh it’s cute, it can’t hurt anyone” assuming that some breeds are not welcome. They assumed certain characteristics about us as people and immediately said “we serve alcohol and you cannot come in”. After I publicly educated them on the laws of service animals, they tried to retract their denial of service and then stated that alcohol cannot be served. I have been dining at Taqueria from day one. I used to enjoy their basic margarita. Yesterday was my last day. They have never had a service animal policy. I had been there countless times with a service animal. This was a first. This was a horrible first and last. As a past patron at Taqueria I have witnessed countless irresponsible behaviors with their service and alcohol. I have always minded my own business. Last night they made it my business. Taqueria discriminates, judges and mistreats customers. They are uneducated and wrong. I will never support this business and I strongly you do not support them either. Taqueria is a negative star venue. Finally - I suggest that the health department Pay Taqueria a visit to see if they are up to health code. And very important! Neither the hostess nor the manager were wearing protective gear in this time Of COVID. Something protected us from dining there under the guise of their ignorance. Look at these images and look at the lack of hygiene as well. We were spared from a bad and dirty experience all around. For that I am grateful.
Great place to pick up delicious items from their menu. About just as good as their sit in restaurant.
Love Taqueria!! A Jersey City institution not to missed! Best tamales and horchata anywhere.
