This place is so good. I always get the California burrito with carne asada. In truth, sometimes the burrito is incredible and sometimes it’s just okay, I think it depends on who is back there cooking. But the customer service is great and their salsa is always fresh! Still highly recommend ️
I was unsure about how Southern California's recent stay-at-home order would impact this place's hours, so I called them yesterday to understand their hours for today. They confirmed that they would be open at 8am. I was here at 8:15am, yet they were closed. I am sympathetic to hard-working restaurant operators who are trying to survive the devastation brought upon their business by the pandemic. However, here I wasted my time and gasoline while someone decided to sleep in. Since this business can't be bothered to show up when they tell me, they can take their 1 star and stay home.
For a small place with cafeteria style furnishings, in a strip mall, and close to the beach, this place is hard to beat! They have high quality affordable food. The condiments bar is always stocked with pickled carrots and radishes in addition to the usual Salsa's that range from mild to mind- glowingly hot. The customer service is unbeatable. Joe is always working to make sure you get what you will enjoy. If you are in the mood for a nice sit-down restaurant this is not the place. If you are looking for quick, healthy, and affordably priced then this is the spot!
