After researching and interviewing other builders we choose Virginia Building Solutions because they would allow us to upgrade our building materials to ensure the home will be built to last. All of the other companies we met with wouldn’t allow us to make the change outside their “cookie cutter factory requirements”. Working with Virginia Building Solutions was a great experience. We made minor adjustments to our floor plan and they answered all of our questions throughout the process in a timely manner. We just recently moved into our new home and loving it thank you so much for the team at Virginia Building Solutions!

I first met John back in 2006 when I was interviewing various builders for my home in Williamsburg. John was the clear choice. People often talk about how building a house is the hardest thing they had done, how it stressed them out, etc. I had none of that . The whole process and experience was easy and fun. John took care of everything. The finished product was perfect! Things went so well with that house, that when we decided to move to Newport News 5 years later, I reached out to John to do house #2. Again, the process was simple, fun, and enjoyable. We have been in our current home for just over 6 years now and everything is great! Their Rocky Mount location has been very helpful to us, and looking forward to getting started building with them shortly! (--Edit after our home was finished--) There is so much good to say about this company! From the quality product they delivered to us, and to their devoted team that made every step of the way stress free. My wife and I were new to the modular home built system, and after having a home fall through that was under contract with a builder that is now out of buisness, we felt stuck. Virginia Building Solutions allowed us to completely 100% custom design our entire house, gave them the drawings and within 2 months, a house was delivered and set in a day, roughly 80% complete. We could not have been more pleased with the quality of the home, and they really have mastered the custom modular home sector over the past 15 years of doing this. There was never any corners cut, and their site manager who did alot of the detailed finishing work such as the onsite built porch and inside details ect, put 110% into making our dream home. I cannot say enough good things about this company.
