I suggest you use the cable car to get down to the beach and not the steps like I did! My legs didn't barley managed to carry me down. Cable car travels every 15 minutes very quick and tickets are 3 euro one way. Ticket machines are in multiple languages

Conveniently connects the Taormina village center with a shore. At the time of my visit (June), ran every 15 minutes. Price 6 for a round-trip. There are no facilities at the stations. Modern, clean, but not remarkable in any way.

Just great cable car, fast and cheap to get to Isola Bella. Would be great the same service to Castelmola :) Absolutely great views, must see. After You visited Isola Bella, definitely go to Castelmola. Just 3 Eur from bus station Taormina - diamond of Sicily.

Great way to Access Mazzaro and Taormina. Cheap transport to either place with fabulous views to Giardina Naxos and beyond.
