A best kept secret! You can either drive or hike to the church. We drove and easily found parking. You can also hike up to the castle next to the church and there are beautiful views along that short hike as well.

Stunning views! Worth the effort getting up all stairs.
Go up all the way to castelmola with the bus, come back down walking (use the stairs if you can) and don't miss this church on the way down, it's beautiful. But be mindful of the mass (several times a day)
Small chapel, excellent views, and has access to the castle tairs not far away. Cool how it was built around the Rock. Never seen anything like this.
Hiking this trail gives you fantastic view toward the whole Taormina. Even you can see inside of the teatro greco. It has also marvelous view to Etna. Do not miss this short and wonderful trail. The church madonna della rocca looks far away but it takes less than 20 min. After the church you can go further to the castle but today it was closed. Anyway, there is another way for the car, but I strongly recommend to hike. You won’t regret it!
