Small but nice resturant. Would be better if the quantity is slightly higher.

Very nice. Their curry is awesome. Service is really good.

Very welcoming, food was just excellent and the gyozas were the yummiest!

Kimchi as the starter was good but the rest of the food was disappointing. The service was nice but for the price I expect great food, but in this case, the food may have been \home made\ but it wasn't well made at all. I wouldn't recommend this place.

Avoid and literally run for the hills. The portions are small and the taste and flavours were mediocre. Although the food was cooked by a Japanese woman, it doesn't mean that it's good. And this is the case in point: an average person cooking food which tasted average. Lyon deserves better Japanese food than this overpriced monstrosity marketed as something trendy, it is anything but trendy/bobo/good. It costed 60 for two persons and I think you can spend that money elsewhere for better food- we went to Planet Sushi after to eat Japanese food (I was still hungry after) to make my hippocampus erase the nightmare I just ingested.

Definitely our favorite restaurant in Lyon - surprising and creative dishes every single diner we had there (and there was a lot of them!). Special mention to the great owner, always funny and who is more than happy to accommodate your tastes.

The dinner we had at Tanuki was for us really disappointing. We shared gyozas as starter, and then we had the Japanese Beef Curry and the Chicken Karaage. The Curry was mostly composed by rice in curry sauce with 3 small slices of meat, and the Karaage had some lettuce leaves and 5 pieces of fried chicken if I remember well. We finished the dinner still hungry even if we totally paid 44 for 2 with one beer. Too expensive for the experience.

Très bonne cuisine Japonaise avec des produits originaux de qualité. L’accueil est très sympathique. Ce resto intimiste idéal pour passer un bon moment entre amis ou en amoureux. Nous recommandons très vivement
