A fantastic day for the family. An extensive train service, Traction Engine, barn engine, truck and car displays. A museum and a good selection of sales stands. Several cafés, not crowded at all, carriages with screens and one way systems everywhere. A big vote of thanks for the owner, family, staff and volunteers. We really enjoyed our visit. 5*'s.

First visit to Statfold with my grandchildren. (7 & 4) So impressed! Staff were superb, very friendly and informative and covid safety was dealt with thoroughly and yet unobtrusively. Children and adults alike enjoyed the train and tram rides and the museum and trail. Just hadn't realised there was a picnic area, oh well, next time!

I know most of the preserved railways in Britain and was not expecting too much of Statfold barn, how amazed was I to see this gem. The works were opened and and all locos were in steam. There must have been over one hundred volunteers there to manage all duties. If you have a chance to visit on one of the open days then take it A period tram, a working Beyer garret and about twenty other narrow gauge locos in steam making a fantastic day.

Really enjoyed their special Peppa Pig event. The museum is really interesting with lots on narrow gauge trains. The train and tram rides were also good fun. Great hidden gem for a day/afternoon out.
