I think this is a great surgery! Yes they do take a while to answer the phone but they are doing other jobs as well!! The staff are lovely and helpful and do go out of their way to do things for you.

Since the start of the pandemic, PTS has maximised the usage of not bothering to do any work. They never answer the phones, the online prescription ordering service has been down for nearly two months and you are forced to go into the surgery when you don't need to. When you do go in, there is no one else in there and they staff are doing nothing. Thanks guys!

Please, please answer the phone. I have to go into the surgery to book an appointment because for 3 (yes 3weeks !!!) I've been phoning to book and you simply don't answer the phone. Last Friday was appalling, with the phone being engaged from 8am to 6pm every single time I called and that was every half an hour!!!. Also there's no electronic link with pharmacies so when they have to call for repeat scripts they can't get through either. Time to leap into the 21st century and modernise. The doctors are OK when you can get to see them but reception needs sorting out.

We need the phones to be answered please and the new on-line presription system is attrocious. When your patients are ultra-anxious due to Covid19, we need better customer service and compassionate support not silence!

I've only added the second star because I adore two of the Doctors; i.e. Dr Mackenzie and Doctor Latham. Regrettably, it is almost impossible to contact the surgery. My father has had to visit in person to be seen after significant health issues. As for me, I am diagnosed with Bi Polar disorder and every six months I am required to update my prescription. If I cannot attend due to the difficulty in contacting the surgery, I am potentially left without my medication which is life saving. I don't believe that there is anything lazy or insidious going on; however something needs to be addressed in order to meet patients' needs. Surely due to current circumstances, alternative arrangements should be considered and acted upon.
