Have to say these guys are so helpful here. coming back to shooting after years out they make you feel like family. Have to say John who takes me clay pigeon shooting is a total saint I have learnt so so much from him \ not going to tell him that \. I would highly recommend him to anyone who is coming to try clay pigeon shooting. Can't beat clay pigeon shooting better than golf The shop is well stocked and not a bad price the staff make you feel so welcome 10/10

Took my father and father in law for 50 clays with tuition. Graham was a our instructor and we couldn't have had a nicer bloke teaching us. He was really patient and very helpful as we had a practice on each of three stages followed by a coffee then a mini competition between the three of us. My dad was struggling with arthritis in his shoulder after a while yet Graham took his time and helped support the gun for my Dad so he could continue to shoot. All three of us loved it. Personally I found the tuition and venue far better than when I last shot which was only once and about 7 years ago. This was much better and to hit 19 clays from 26 in the comp I was over the moon and testament to how well Graham done in helping us improve in just a few hours. The three wives came along too and sat watching on camping chairs and enjoyed the scenery and watching us men enjoying ourselves. Brilliant and cant wait to go again.

Went to Garlands today looking to buy my first Shotgun. Going in knowing next to nothing, I had a lot of help and much needed advice. I was able to shoot a few guns and soon found one that suited me best (there was a lot of difference, so highly recommend shooting a few before buying). Garlands then helped me to find the best cartridges and even what to do with my paperwork. I've no problem recommending Garlands to anyone new to shooting.
