Why have I been going to other mexican restaurants instead of Tampico? I have absolutely no idea. I'm so happy we decided to stop by for lunch, because the food and service were really good during our visit. I had a burrito and my wife had a chalupa and we couldn't have asked for anything more. We will definitely be back.

Very good food. Service staff very nice. Great place to go for Mexican food. For those with kids or adults, they have a great cheese burger and fries.
My wife loves the tortilla soup. It is a delicious medicine in a bowl. Sitting by the fireplace was fabulous, so thankful they are opened again.
Tried this place for the first time tonight trying to support local restaurants but I should have eaten in. The beans are just a bit odd, no big deal. the rice tastes life refrigerator to both my wife and I. We ordered vegetarian dishes and both our vegetables were cooked to death. Staff is friendly so I'm tempted to give 2 stars but I did just waste 40 on a meal for two that was not eaten. I would assume they are normally better due to all the good reviews ..
Really really good salsa! Ice cold Horchata, the beans were okay, the rice was just the way I like it, not soggy or over salted. The cheese was so gooey and hot. I do wish the tortillas were made in house, that would of definitely put this place at a 5 star. I'll come back for sure. Great place for a family. My service was super fast, but I did come in close to closing. Not sure if you should eat here? Give it a try! It's worth it.
