I absolutely love this place, however, if you are in a lower apartment you will hear the walking around above. You do not hear the talking, or music, you hear the walking because of the weak upper floor. So ,if you have a schedule where you need your night sleep and your up stairs neighbor likes to walk all night, it is an issue. Everything else is wonderful!!!!!

I am really enjoying living here. Our apartment is cozy and quiet. I enjoy seeing the owner(s) on the property often and repairs being taken care of. Maintenance is quick to respond, and everyone is very friendly!
Management is great, super helpful and very reliable. Apartment complex has plenty of lights and is well kept. Apartments are nice and roomy.
The new managers at Tamarak are great! Jonna and David are a great asset to the property. Always friendly and willing to help even with small things. We love the new BBQ and little dog loves the pet park. This place is definitely home in the heart of Tempe. Easy access to freeways, great shopping nearby at Tempe Marketplace. I love being able to park almost directly in front of my apartment. This is very unusual in any place I have lived in the past. I recommend this place if you like quite. It’s peaceful plus I love my washer and dryer!! Keep up the good work. I just renewed for my second year.
I have lived in a one bedroom with Tamarak for about 8 months now and am very satisfied with it. My boyfriend and I were a little hesitant about the complex, as there were pretty scarce detailed, recent reviews. We decided to take a leap of faith and couldn’t be happier about our decision! We did a lot of research regarding apartments in Tempe and Mesa and found this place to be one of the most affordable. Also, we’ve had a few minor fixes that needed to be done in our time here and management has handled them that day, often within hours. Location is also good, near one of the best breweries in Phoenix as well as downtown Tempe. The one downfall we’ve had at this place is our mail and packages. Although it hasn’t been terrible, there have been a couple of times where packages have been delivered to the office and the office has limited open hours. The property manager is easy to reach via email and set up a time to get the packages, but it is a tad inconvenient. Haven’t had to deal with this as of late though, most things have just been delivered to our door no problem. Overall, if you’re looking for a bang for your buck and a simple, basic, solid apartment, Tamarak is for you!
