Not impressed but probably biased. OK bridge is iconic, its impressive but as a local needing to travel it daily, very expensive and they keep on wanting to put the price up. Lovely new visitor/museum type place built, very nice but who pays for it. Lovely great big kinda control room place, lots of massive screens, computers etc, what for its a bridge!! OK cctv for the traffic but really? Who pays for that? Hmmm excessive grandure paid for by locals trying to earn a living and feed a family. Remember, when built was PROMISED to be free travel after cost of construction recouped. But hey fiscal greed wins out again. Also call to top up your tag out of there opening hours and your met with the usual 'we are experiencing high numbers of calls' message. This is then followed by a we are closed message! Truth, honesty, care for users? Absolutely not.

Marvellous piece of imposing structural engineering, as is the adjacent Brunel's iconic railway bridge which runs alongside. Great views over the Tamar can be appreciated when travelling along this bridge, toll charges apply one way when travelling from Cornwall into Devon and the bridge is open 24 hours. A vital link between between the counties and worth a visit even if not travelling across it, always enjoy looking up from the banks of the Tamar and Saltash.

It is a bridge linking Devon and Cornwall, it has a car park with good views.

No charge westbound but 2 eastbound. They still have people in the booths to collect the money, how quaint. Since the COVID restrictions they collect the money in a fishing net - much to the amusement of the whole car.
