John, oh John. What a rude guy. His age seems to clash with his understanding of the internet quite badly. Upon calling John and wanting to ask very politely if he could take a look at and help me with my motorcycle, he immediately took a hostile stance and started lecturing me about how he is retired and only sells his inventory now. I told him that Google still says his business is open and available but he denied it and said he doesn’t know anything about that. Didn’t even get a chance to ask my question, just shut down immediately, eat **** John.

Owning and maintaining a classic British motorcycle can be overwhelming at times. Countryside cycle has helped me out of few jams whether it be finding parts or offering me advice. Jon (owner) was more than willing to give me tech support and help me fix my bike saving me from buying a part I didn't need, all at no cost to me. I'm very happy to have found this shop and I recommend Countryside Cycle to anybody who needs help finding parts or fixing their classic British iron!

Called to ask about service and was rudely told that people who work all week don't do business on Sunday although Google maps says they are open today and he picked up the business phone number. I can't speak on his work, but he definitely doesn't have the best customer service skills and treated an inquiring customer like they weren't worth his time. That says something about how he handles business. I would never take my bike to this venue after this conversation.

I have known Jon my whole life. He REALLY knows his stuff. All his engines are made to run at full power/redline even well above factory power ratings -reliably- and still have that concours polish and correctness. He knows how to lace wire wheels to better than factory specs. This man is decent to a fault when it comes to standing behind his work. Parts inventory is huge. Encyclopedic knowledge of BSA's and Triumphs and willing to talk you through bike issues, unlike most shop owners.

Jon and Howard are knowledgeable, honest, and damn good at their craft!
