We stayed for the 3 day weekend ,it was everything we hoped for and more ,3 glorious days riding ,each day completely different. We were the least experienced in our group but they were fun and caring to each abilities it was the first time we had done a riding weekend although we have regular lessons at home it was quite different ,learning how to look after your own horse from catching them in the morning to grooming and feeding before putting out in the field in the evening ,and then getting a delicious tea and cake . The rides were high into the hills ,down dry river beds, through untrodden paths into small jumps across little ditches and the odd fast gallop across fields ,just when your knees seem to have stiffened up completely you get to stop for lunch ,revived you get on again for another 2 hrs home . The accomadation is very comfortable,in fact one of the most comfortable beds I have stayed in and the evening meal is delicious and just the right amount . We took our bikes and had great cycles up the hill to see the sunsets in the evening great way to loosen the knees . Only advise please be honest about your riding skills as you will then get the perfect horse ,I rode Neptune for 3 days and although we were always at the back he was a gentle giant ,he kept me very safe even when I felt i wasn't in complete control . I won't name names as all had their part to play for our wonderful weekend . See you again Caitlin and Richard .

Trans Wales Trails is the BEST! I cannot recommend the place, the people and, of course, the horses more highly. Having not ridden properly for many years, I went to Trans Wales for a long weekend and absolutely fell in love with riding all over again! The whole experience really re-established my confidence. Emily and Paul, and the guides, Kirsty, Maz and Rosie are all so friendly, capable, knowledgable and hospitable. The accommodation is excellent, and so is the food. The horses are looked after to the highest of standards, and are so much fun to ride! The landscape is beautiful and relaxing. I am now two trips down, and have another two coming up, and I look forward to many more!

Went on a Friday pub lunch ride to a local pubwith my sister led by our guide Rosie - best riding found in the UK so far - horses fit, sure footed and up for it, great open spaces to let them stretch their legs at speed, and all set in amazing scenery. Thoroughly recommended for any confident and competent riders used to hacking through uneven terrain. Will definitely be back for a weekend ride!

Did the actual Trans-Wales week long trip. Epic (in the proper sense of the word). No regrets and highly recommended. Rosie our guide was superb. Fit, fun, forward going and healthy cobs plus great daily scenery and quaint places to stay overnight in the countryside each night. Overall rating A!
