Very polite on the phone and also at the restaurant. Genuine and good food, nice atmosphere and was pleasantly surprised by the bill. Will definitely be back and I really recommend this place for someone who wants to try Maltese traditional food.
This place is simply amazing. Food to die for and the service is impeccable. We were a table of 4 and had a delicious variety of antipasti followed by 3 different main courses, pork cheeks, lampuki and beef. Book before if you want to visit.
Excellent combo of well thought of dishes, great selection of wines and a relaxed atmosphere. Their concept of local pure ingredients combined with innovative use of spices used in the antipasti was a very good intro and the main courses kept the quality level as high. They make their own olives that ware truly intense in flavor. The professionalism of the service was evident and wine pairings were customized to our pallet and interests. They're also Covid-19 compliant to the Maltese regulations.
First of all the place exists for more than 700 years. They bring you a variety of Maltese dishes to start and if you can you order a main dish. The service is exceptional and the owner one in a million. He visits every table to explain and chat. This is an experience worth living. Amazing!
Beautiful restaurant in a magical part of Malta. Donald & his Wife (the owners) are incredibly welcoming, interesting & hospitable. They grow their own veg & the food is incredible. Not something you find often in Malta. This is what dining should be. You feel like you are at home.

Awesome Maltese cuisine!!! They start with tons of cold antipasti. We had also the Rooster leg with figs and the pork shank cooked with brandy. A real feast!!!! The service is very good and very friendly. Worth the detour!!!
