Very cosy restaurant with traditional Maltese food and friendly staff. I tried Maltese mix: horse, rabbit and beef dishes. The portions were very generous and meals tasted amazing, especially my girlfriend's quail was something special :) a must go in Malta!

We came home from Malta a week ago and already missing the food. This is the best restaurant! Get the Maltese Appetizer Platter; it's soooo good. There were 5 of us, we all got different things and every dish was excellent. The night after eating here, we made reservations in a restaurant near by. We looked at that menu, and went back to this restaurant instead! We again had 5 different entrees and again they were all A. The waitresses were awesome. They were helpful, charming and attentive but not overbearing. Thanks Sara, Kelsey, and Lorraine! And the owner treated us to liqueurs! If you are in Malta, make this a stop! You won't regret a bite!
Delicious food and generous portions. The staff are really friendly and helpful. They boxed up our leftovers so we could eat them at home. You can also pick two or three dishes to have as a main course for one person. The horse meat dish and rabbit stew where really tasty!
A fantastic Maltese restaurant with excellent local food and popular with locals which is always a good sign. Service and attention was first class. Highly recommended.
Went there last summer food was ok apthough slightly over priced but although the place was very welcoming there was a very strong smell of leaking gas next tonour table which was very unpleasant

I love eating Maltese traditional food at Tal-Majjistra, like the rabbit with gravy and as dessert Imqaret with ice cream .
