On the way from tajimi to takayama, we turned off the road to try glassblowing at a local glassworks. Resonable pricing (3500 Yen, for a glass with colours (nov 2017)) and fun experience, we picked up the glasses om the way back to tajimi since they need to cool slowly in an oven over night.

Wonderful glass works. We stopped on the way from Tajimi and tried blowing glass, I especially enjoyed the variation in colors you could choose from and I am very happy with the result. The shop owner is also very welcoming and supportive. We had a great time!
Operated by one person. The workshop is neat and organized. The workshop is little small but good enough for trying out. The owner was effecient and made it super easy for us to create our own glasses.
とても親切な先生で、作品もとてもセンスが良い‼️ 色使いやデザインも凄く良いです！ もっとたくさん作ってみたくなりました‼️また行きたいです。看板娘のご長寿猫ちゃんも顔を見せてくれました。とても充実した時間を過ごすことができました、工房も清潔感あるとても良い工房でした。
初吹きガラス とてもキレイでお洒落なお店でした。 細かく指導して頂けるので、子供連れにもオススメです️ 私は中学生の娘&娘友と3人で伺ったのですが、一人一人の好みを大切に指導して頂けて、大満足でした。 世界に一つだけの作品 良い思い出になりました
1-2名貸切で教えてくださいます。 今回はグラスに挑戦。色とりどりのガラス粒を並べて、模様やタイプを相談しながら作りました。 グラデーションやドット、色味や泡の入れ方、グラスの形、変形の付け方まで、きめ細かく相談に乗ってくださって、希望のグラスになるようお手伝いしてくださいました。 小学校3年生の子と行きましたが、子どもにも全工程をきちんと体験させてくださって、子どもがとても喜んでいて、私も嬉しくなりました。初めての吹きガラス体験がこちらで本当に良かったです！ ガラスはんこ作りもあるようなので、今度はそちらも体験したいです。
