Ansari Famous Cendol brings us back to the past, where bicycle still the main mode of transportation to get around. But do aware that parking spots are limited, and this place is famous, therefore, come early to get your bite.

Simply superb. Cheap amazingly delicious huge portion Honestly speaking, it's among the best cendols I've had throughout the many food trips I went on (low key searching for good cendol everywhere I go). 100% recommend all cendol lovers to come here for a hearty bowl of cendol to satisfy your cendol cravings.

Reviewers mentioned this is one of the must tried Cendol restaurant if you're visiting Taiping, Perak. I ordered a bowl of original and another with kacang toppings. To be bluntly honest, after a mouthful of icey & sugary goodness, I felt it is somewhat average. Not too sure why it is overly hype as I've tasted better Cendol in my lifetime. However, the generous amount of kacang (kidney beans or red beans) is something I must applaud.In other places, you will hardly even get a good chunk of kacang in your Cendol. Unfortunately, their Cendol Pulut (glutinous rice Cendol) is sold out. I've also ordered a plate of Rojak/Pasembur (assorted fritters, boiled egg, tofu with peanut sauce). It was a pair in heaven along with a bowl of Cendol. Note: flies here are a constant menace.

Personally the best cendol and pasembor I’ve ever had. The cendol is not too milky or creamy [often the case when shops add too much santan (coconut milk)], they’re generous with the kacang and cendol helpings and most importantly, it is not too sweet. If you’re a pulut in cendol type of person, best get here early as they often run out by 12:30pm-1pm. The pasembor is fresh and well-balanced with flavourful gravy. Unlike many stalls I’ve tried, it is not too sweet and suits my palate. 10/10 would recommend.
