Update on new experience: Service improved! And the promos are much appreciated. A cozy place on the picnic grove side of tagaytay. Mixed feelings about this place but i think its safe to say its cozy, homey and petit. A little improvement on the service would make it more likeable. Be a little more accommodating, and more welcoming. Even if there were just two groups of customers, they still forgot to complete our order. We ordered coffee and tsokolate. The tsokolate comes with toasted mamon. Mary Grace's tsokolate and ensaymada comes to mind with this order. Beware of your expectations for toasted mamon. It comes as some kind of a cookie and not a pastry mamon. The taste is a good match though when you dip it in the tsokolate. Kinda like broas. The coffee (barako) is ok, comes with muscovado and creamer on the side. I love the wooden floor, it made me remove my shoes and have a feel for it. Some japanese style table dining on the farther side where the ceiling glides down, which makes sense for the lower head room. Fun sized but strong wooden tables and chairs for couples, and long wooden tables for groups. Theres a mini view out the window which reminded me of early sagada, i dont know why. The tables outside have a little bit of pull and feels like a good tambay, but not during traffic time coz its just beside the main road. They also sell some mangyan items, which some of the proceeds go to the tribes. Btw, the place is now called Ma-yi. A possible rebrand, coz i saw some java jazz keychains seling with the other items they have. From jazz to locally inspired theme, i think the latter has better appeal and gives a truer feel for the space.

Small but really cozy. Prices are reasonable. Just right beside the National Highway so you can easily get there either via public transport or private vehicle.

I visited this place today and I was saddened after finding out that they are out business. I have fond memories with this homey cafe. I remember dining there a couple of times watching a tiny humming bird fluttering around some red flowers. That's where I find refuge whenever I feel the need to run away from the hustles and bustles of city life.

This is a really cool place to eat in Tagaytay. The vibe is very indie. You can choose to sit at their regular tables or their low tables where you sit in the "banig" or handwoven mats. The place is also adorned by paintings, not sure if they sell it. They serve good hot chocolate. Try Tsokolate-Ah.

The artist's cafe located along the highway of Tagaytay. Where you can find coffee at its best brewed in the local. If you're just right for having coffee time with the cold breeze of Tagaytay and wanting to inspire the artist child within, the Java Jazz Cafe is definitely a great haven for you, creative people. Within the four corners of the wall you will find yourself mesmerize with the artworks done by the local artist, definitely you will get inspire from their creativity while having a coffee time.

I had some reservations when we first arrive because the parking area could only fit two cars, but it was allayed by the relaxing ambiance once we got inside. The aesthetic is very nice; lots of artwork to feast your eyes on. The food was average, nothing out of the ordinary, but the price didn't really do damage on my wallet. It's a very comfortable rest stop on your way to somewhere else but I don't suggest you make this your ultimate destination. The restaurant is very small and could benefit from some improvement, but as it is, it captures that homey feel that many people desperately seek.

Affordable, great food, very accessible, you can ask anyone and they will guide you where this place is. Had a blast here and food is not that pricey. I would definitely recommend eating here I will keep coming back to this place.
