A lovely visit to this Post Office. I found them very efficient and very professional. Also, left with a lovely baguette! Will be back for more!

Absolutely stunning food! Highly recommend the home-made corned beef pie! - Thanks Val! Loads of choice, only thing wrong is that'll you'll struggle to find a favourite as all the grub is top notch! I can see why some people make the journey here as there is absolutely nothing local that compares to the choice, quality and friendliness that on offer! 10/10

Most unfriendly unhelpful bad attitude and incompetent post office I've ever used, first and last time for me.only by chance as my local offices were closed and the last day to post overseas armed forces Xmas parcel did I use this post office. Liked to think she knew what she was doing but clearly did not, only to be corrected by another customer who also knew more than she did!!. Luckily I've used this service many times so knew what I was talking about. She clearly did not. Take note family /friends of active service personnel, what should cost 5 would have cost 30 to the unknowing!!! Shocking customer service..

Friendly staff, good banter, good value and great tasting food. The young woman behind the counter was particularly lovely. Definitely recommend.

I've always found this post office to be very helpful and knowledgeable, happy to go above and beyond wherever possible. To their credit, they helped feed residents during the flooding and they stayed open throughout lockdown. If they have now chosen to close a little early that's their prerogative. Looking through these reviews, I'd suggest that some of the less-than-positive ones are simply due to people often not wanting to hear an honest/correct answer when it doesn't suit them. Incidentally, I was witness to the previous reviewers \incident\. After being asked to put a mask on, the gentleman became quite abusive, shouting and swearing at the owners daughter. With that attitude, it's little wonder he's been asked not to return - no one should have to contend with that level of abuse. I'm surprised that the relatively low pollen count in September is affecting the gentleman's breathing so much that he's unable to wear a mask, Hay Fever usually affects a sufferers sinuses not their lungs. His symptoms sound more like asthma, perhaps he should check with his doctor. And if the gentleman has truly already had covid, one would think he'd be more aware of the need to prevent transmission of the virus.
