Tacos El Cacheton

I drive by this place every day to and from work. I finally had the opportunity to experience the food. I ordered 4 tacos de azada. Their is always a line of people waiting there. It is a very comfortable set up and the area is clean. I added lime and salsa to the tacos and tasted the meat. It is really good food. The tortilla is soft and warm. I enjoyed and will return next chance I get. They sell quesadillas of which I will devour next time.

Food is good like always. But come ready to wait .always a line ive come day , night and late night always a line . Seats are limited but what a tasty treat . Wide variety of delicious drinks to wash down the tasty food. Hope they change anything. Worth the stop if you happen to be in this area Rosecrans and Atlantic. In the beautiful city of Compton. These are my opinions. So come see / Taste for yourself. Remember to bring cash . No cards at this time.

The taco truck is parked right next to the gas station on the corner. They have a small string of benches to sit on with shading. This was my first time trying steamed meat tacos and they are amazing! I got the cabeza and asada. Other options are labio and cachete. The cabeza was amazing! I can’t stop thinking about it. Very soft and tender. The asada was saltier and had a more dense texture. I think they go well together. On the table they have, limes, cucumbers, spicy red salsa, mild green salsa and onions and cilantro. When I went it was 1.25 per taco. Next time I want to try the quesadilla and other meat choices. TLDR: get the cabeza tacos!!!

I just had the tacos de asada... And wow. Great flavor. Even with no salsa, the tacos are so flavorful. The tortillas are really soft and hold the taco well. Lots of meat too.
